CGTC Athletics to Host Second Annual GCAA All-Star Games
Apr 14, 2017
The top GCAA Division I freshman and sophomore men's basketball players from nine of the region's competing colleges will participate in the all-star showcase. Student-athletes were voted on by GCAA conference coaches for selection to the all-star teams.
GCAA conference coaches developed the GCAA All-Star Games to better promote the participating colleges, the conference, and most importantly, the student-athletes. The games will provide a platform for the student-athletes to showcase their talent in front of four-year college coaches at all levels.
Of the 40 players participating in the games, four of the student-athletes were chosen from CGTC's men's basketball team. Michael Laster (Manhattan, NY) and Malik Davis (Miami, FL) are among the freshman all-stars, while Anthony Johnson (Jacksonville, FL) and Adrian Tolbert (Newnan, GA) were selected for the sophomore all-star team.
General admission is $5. Admission is free for children 10 and under.
