Central Georgia Technical College's (CGTC) head men's basketball coach, Reco Dawson, has announced the Titans 2016-17 schedule. The team's season will include 16 home games and 16 Georgia College Athletic Association (GCAA) conference games.

The Titans will open the season on their home court in an exhibition against Handle It Prep in Macon on November 1, followed by the CGTC Classic in Warner Robins against Georgia Gwinnett College (11/4) and American Basketball Institute (11/5).

The team will head out on the road for games against Chattahoochee Valley CC (11/9) and Cleveland State (11/15) before heading into the Albany Tech Classic against American Basketball Institute (11/18) and Alabama Southern CC (11/19). At the holiday break, the Titans will compete in the Gulf Coast State College Thanksgiving Classic with match-ups against Gulf Coast State (11/25) and Pensacola State (11/26).

After a long road game stint, the Titans will host a four-game home stand beginning November 30 in a series close-out against Chattahoochee Valley CC. In their first conference game of the season, the Titans will host East Georgia State on January 4.
Sixteen of the remaining 17 regular season games in January and February for the Titans will come against conference opponents. Notable games of the final two months include a match-up on January 25 and the season-closer on March 1 versus the 2015-16 GCAA Division I champions, Georgia Highlands College.
The men's basketball team finished the 2015-16 season with a 20-13 overall record and a 9-7 record in the conference. The Titans made it to the GCAA Conference Championship, earning a second-place finish.

With a host a new faces arriving to the team, the Titans will look to returning players Anthony Johnson and Tyrone Young for veteran leadership.
