Macon, GA – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Athletics Department has announced the 2019-20 women's basketball schedule. The Lady Titans' season will include 11 home games and 18 Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) conference match-ups, including home-and-home series against Georgia Highlands College, East Georgia State College, Andrew College, Albany Technical College, South Georgia Technical College, and Southern Crescent Technical College.
Following four exhibition games on the road in October, the Lady Titans will begin conference play with three consecutive matchups against Southern Crescent (11/11), the reigning GCAA Champions, South Georgia Tech (11/13), and Albany Tech (11/20)
The Lady Titans take a quick break from conference play to participate in the Pensacola Community College Classic on November 22-23, before facing conference rival East Georgia State in Swainsboro on November 26.
The team will round out the month of November with play in the South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets Holiday Classic (11/29-30).
The month of December will be a test of endurance for the Lady Titans, as they will play four of their six games on the road.
Of the 13 remaining games for the Lady Titans in January and February, 11 of them will come against conference opponents. Notable games of the final two months include two games (1/4 and 2/5) versus South Georgia Technical and two games (1/29 and 2/8) against Georgia Highlands.
The women's basketball team finished the 2018-19 season with a 15-16 overall record and a 12-7 record in the conference. The Lady Titans will look to returning starters Ayanna Collins and Laurie Thomas for veteran leadership.
