Titans Football Set to Launch 2025 Season at Rival Georgia Military College 

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Titans of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) start the 2025 season on the road against a conference rival, Georgia Military College (GMC) on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1 p.m.  

Coming off a strong 2024 season with an overall record of 10-1, the Titans look to avenge the one blemish on their inaugural season, a 65-0 loss on the road at GMC, who finished ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA postseason poll.  

The 2024 season was by all measures a success for the Titans as it featured breakout performances and rising regional recognition. The Titans are poised to make a bold statement in their second full season of competition.  

A talented roster composed of experienced sophomores and standout freshman, is exactly what Head Coach Kato Hitson believes is a recipe for competitive football.  

"We have high expectations and a vision for continued growth," Hitson said. "We have built a standard that new and returning players must live up to. It's a brand of football that all of Central Georgia can be proud of."  

In the Titans first season of NJCAA Division-1 competition, they finished second in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Conference (GCAA).  

In final polls NJCAA polls for 2024, the Titans ranked No. 10 with a total points-per-game at 35.2; No. 32 in total offense with 266.9 YPG. In 2025, they will look for improvements in the passing game, where they ranked 32nd among 41 NJCAA teams. It was the rushing game that had the most consistency, finishing 22nd overall.  

Defensively, the Titans were a dominate force, allowing only 85.2 yards per game.  

The College invites the Titan Family to travel to Milledgeville on Saturday to support the Titans. Davenport Field at GMC is located at E Franklin and S Elbert Streets in Milledgeville, Ga.
