Warner Robins, GA – The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) has announced its 2024-25 preseason All-GCAA Men’s Basketball team, featuring two standout athletes from Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). Christian Torres and Christian Watkins earned this honor, positioning CGTC basketball for a promising season ahead.

“This motivates me to keep pushing. My focus has been on doing extra workouts and preparing beyond practice to sharpen my skills." Torres said, "It reminds me of my favorite quote: 'To master the boring.' (It shows) when you put in the work, even when it feels repetitive, you can become great."

Watkins echoed a similar sentiment about dedication and discipline and his commitment to the team.

“I'm committed to making this a great season. The hard work and training have prepared me for this moment,” he said.

Both players have been preparing rigorously for the upcoming season, embodying the determination and resilience that define CGTC athletics. Their coaches say their selection highlights the strong foundation CGTC is building as the team enters the season with high expectations.

The Titans kick off their season at the Southeastern Jamboree in Florida on October 6 and return home to Warner Robins for their season opener on November 1 at 6 p.m.
