Macon, Ga - CGTC Athletics is proud to announce that Mikyla Woods has been selected as an inaugural member of the National Junior College Athletic Association's (NJCAA) Student-Athlete Council (SAC). Woods, a sophomore women's basketball player, has been chosen to represent the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Region 17.

In August, the NJCAA announced the creation of the SAC. The council aims to provide student-athletes from all 24 NJCAA regions the opportunity to engage and grow while attending their two-year institution, at a national level.
